HISTORY
Southeastern Institute of Columbia was founded in 1997. Upon licensure by the South Carolina Commission on Higher Education, the school was established to provide a clinically based curriculum in the Professional Massage Therapy training program.
In February of 2007, the Southeastern Institute was acquired by Dr. Arthur and Belinda Keiser, who have long-term involvement in developing and managing private colleges and schools.
In 2009, Southeastern Institute changed its name to Southeastern Institute and expanded its program offerings beyond Massage Therapy.

Southeastern Institute is licensed by The South Carolina Commission on Higher Education, 1333 Main Street, Suite 200, Columbia, South Carolina 29201,(803) 737-2260. Licensure indicates only that minimum standards have been met; it is not an endorsement or guarantee of quality.
OWNERSHIP
Southeastern School of Neuromuscular Massage is wholly owned by BAR Education, Inc., 1900 West Commercial Blvd., Suite 180, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33309. Dr. Arthur Keiser and Belinda Keiser are the primary shareholders.
LOCATIONS, FACILITIES, AND EQUIPMENT
The school encompasses 6200 square feet; which includes classrooms, laboratories, a media center, bookstore, and offices. There is ample free parking. All equipment used at the school is compatible with industry standards and effectively meets the objectives of the programs.
STUDENT CLINIC (open to the public)
Come experience a massage from an “up and coming” professional massage and bodywork therapist. Student Clinic hours are every Friday and Saturday from 9AM-6:15PM. Each 50 minute session is $25.00 and will leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Call our campus today at 803-798-8800 to schedule an appointment for you and a friend! Cash only welcomed please.
